Liability Insurance
Basic mandatory insurance that covers damages or injuries caused to third parties only. This includes other vehicles, property, and people involved in an accident. It does not cover damage to the rented vehicle.
This insurance provides protection only for damages caused to third parties. It covers injuries to pedestrians and passengers in other vehicles, as well as physical damage to third-party cars or property such as walls, poles, and structures. It also offers basic legal assistance in the event of an accident. This coverage does not include any protection for the rented vehicle, meaning the customer is fully responsible for any damage to the car they are driving.
Medium Coverage
Provides liability protection plus partial coverage for the rented vehicle. It reduces or eliminates costs for minor damages such as scratches, dents, broken lights, and includes limited roadside assistance. It does not cover total loss or theft.
This plan includes full third-party liability coverage and adds partial protection for the rented vehicle. It helps reduce or eliminate charges for minor damages such as scratches, dents, broken headlights, or small impacts. Medium Coverage includes limited roadside assistance for situations like a dead battery, locked keys, or minor mechanical issues. It also provides partial protection for broken mirrors, lights, and windshield damage. However, it does not cover total loss, rollover, or vehicle theft.
Full Coverage
Comprehensive protection that covers the rented vehicle against collision, theft, rollover, natural disasters, vandalism, and total loss. Includes complete roadside assistance, towing, and usually no deductible. Offers maximum peace of mind during the rental.
This is the most complete protection available for the rented vehicle. It covers damage caused by accidents, including collisions and rollover incidents, as well as total loss resulting from major impacts. Full Coverage also includes complete roadside assistance and towing services, in addition to protection for the windshield, mirrors, lights, and minor cosmetic damage. This plan does not cover flooding or damage caused by falling objects. Depending on the policy, deductibles may be zero or very low, offering maximum peace of mind and reducing unexpected out-of-pocket costs for the renter.

By renting a vehicle with HV Rent Car, the customer agrees to follow all company policies, requirements, and responsibilities established in the rental agreement. This includes valid identification, authorized drivers only, proper use of the vehicle, adherence to traffic laws, and full compliance with payment obligations, deposits, and any additional charges that may apply.
All renters are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition it was delivered, respecting fuel requirements, cleanliness standards, and agreed return times. Misuse of the vehicle, unauthorized drivers, prohibited activities, or failure to report incidents may result in additional fees or the loss of coverage.
Please make sure to review your full rental contract for detailed terms regarding payments, deposits, traffic violations, accidents, damages, extensions, restrictions, and legal jurisdiction. Signing your agreement confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted all conditions established by HV Rent Car.
